I stopped binge drinking alcohol five years ago, and this method has worked tremendously for me:
I redirected my budget for buying booze to things that make me happy and satisfied. For example, buying books gives me immense pleasure, as does enrolling in online courses related to personal development.
Interestingly, even though I love books and courses, I was hesitant to spend money on them but not on booze. So, whenever I felt like buying alcohol, I bought books or enrolled in an online course instead, as it always gave me pleasure and satisfaction. Additionally, I bought fancy, delicious food instead of alcohol, which I wouldn’t normally spend money on.
By taking advantage of my temptation to drink alcohol, I indulged myself in other fulfilling ways.
In the end, I felt awesome and loved myself for winning the battle against drinking alcohol.
This tool stopped me from drinking alcohol and has worked amazingly for me, as I haven’t drunk for many years.
