Life is all about preparation. I enjoy preparing for everything because it makes life more organized and productive. For instance, I prepare for my evening exercise before commuting to work, so I can go straight to the gym afterward. I also make a protein drink the night before to have it ready for the next day.
Each month, I prepare for my tax return, which helps me avoid stress when tax season arrives. When I get home from work, I shower or wash my face right away, saving time and allowing me to go to bed earlier.
I used to prepare my clothes for the next day, but I stopped because I often changed my mind in the morning due to the weather. However, I still prepare most things in advance. For example, if I have hockey training or a game, I get my gear and drinks (protein, coffee, and magnesium) ready the night before. When friends or family visit, I prepare everything in advance, including cleaning.
Every morning, I plan my day by prioritizing tasks to avoid wasting time on less important things. I also plan for the week ahead, as well as 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, and even 10 years into the future. For example, I regularly contribute to my superannuation to prepare for retirement.
Preparation clears my mind, helps me live a more productive and organized life, and allows me to avoid chaos and rush.
