This morning, I was in a low mood because I started focusing on what I haven’t achieved and how slow my progress felt. I began to feel stuck, like I hadn’t accomplished anything.
I caught myself thinking all the negative things and felt stuck.
Then, I paused and shifted my focus to what I already have — good health, food, shelter, supportive people, and endless opportunities to study, grow, and work.
For example, when I once broke my pinky finger into three pieces, instead of feeling miserable, I reminded myself, “I still have nine fingers left.” ![]()
That simple shift in focus helped me feel better and positive.
How did I lift my mood?
By choosing to focus on abundance — the endless fortune I already have. ![]()
