“For me, yes. It actually does.”
I prefer getting up around 5 am. More quiet time. No noise. No rush. That quiet time helps me organise my day, study, write, and focus on what I want to improve.
During the holiday season, I started waking up around 6 am. And honestly, it was okay. I could live like that.
But I noticed something. I studied less. I wrote less. My days felt less organised. My bedtime slowly got later too.
Nothing bad happened. But something felt missing.
I realised I really enjoy my 5 am routine. I love the clear mind, the extra time to write and study, and the feeling of starting the day with intention. It makes me feel satisfied and grounded.
So I’m not forcing myself. I’m just gently coming back. I’ll wake up 20 minutes earlier, step by step, until I return to my 5 am routine.
There’s nothing wrong with waking up later. It’s not good or bad.
It’s simply about knowing what works best for me. ![]()
