Today, I’d like to share my simple tools for how I manage to wake up early in the morning. Normally, I get up around 4:50 am, but some mornings can be tougher than others.
Here are some simple strategies I use to wake up early:
- When my alarm goes off, I make myself get out of bed right away. I go to the kitchen to feed my bunny or do some quick tasks like washing dishes or sweeping the floor. If I’m still feeling sleepy, I spend a few minutes petting my bunny. This helps me wake up gradually by keeping myself busy and moving.
- I prefer not to rely on caffeine to wake me up, so instead of reaching for caffeine right away, I wait for about 30 minutes after waking up before having a cup of black tea.
- If I’m still feeling groggy after the tea, I take a shower. This really helps wake me up and makes me feel refreshed.
The most important thing is to avoid going back to bed. By staying active and engaged, I find it much easier to shake off the sleepiness and start my day feeling energized.
